FAQs

Need a little bit more information before making your decision?

How does billing work?

When you set up your container rental we will ask for billing information up front that we will keep on file. If an additional fee occurs, it will be processed to the card on file and an invoice will be sent to you, notifying you and explaining the charge.

What is an additional fee?

An additional fee can vary depending on the agreement within the container rental. Additional fees may include overloading (debris hanging over the sides of the container, or overflowing). If a container is overloaded, it cannot be transported safely to the landfill. If the driver cannot safely pick up and transport the container you may be charged a "Trip Fee," In Which case an additional dumpster may be required to offload some of the excess debris so the container can be safely transported.

Weight limits vary based on container size and type of debris in the container. The average dumpster truck can carry roughly 10 ton or 20,000 pounds, but the average weight limit will fall between 2-6 tons of debris or 4,000-12,000 pounds in order to meet local road safety restrictions.

An additional fee charge may be made if the container has any "Additional Fee" items in it. Additional fee items include, but are not limited to:

  • Batteries

  • TV Sets

  • Tires

  • Propane Tanks

  • Drums or Barrels (Open or Closed)

  • White Goods (Appliances)

  • Municipal Waste (Household Trash)

  • Hazardous Waste

  • Oils, gas, paint, or any fluids

  • Creosote poles, Cross ties, Telephone poles

  • Mattresses

  • Motors

If the container is overweight via the agreement upon rental, an additional $46.80 will be charged per tonnage.

How full can I fill my container?

Containers should be kept level to the top of the container and no more. Materials should not be overloaded to ensure that we are able to cover the load and transport the container without items falling out and causing a hazard. Loads must not exceed legal limits required by law.

How much room is needed to deliver a container?

Keep in mind our delivery trucks typically need about 18 feet of vertical clearance to drop off a container. Keep the area clear of vehicles and any other obstacles that would prevent being able to deliver the container. Make sure gates are unlocked and the delivery location is accessible to our drivers.

How much does concrete weight?

The weight of concrete is figured based on the length, width, and thickness of the slab.

Multiple the length by the width to calculate the square footage of the concrete.

Keep in mind concrete is most commonly poured at a depth of 3-4 inches thick.

A cubic foot, or yard of concrete weights less once its broken up due to the empty spaces between the pieces.

A solid slab of concrete weights roughly 150 pounds per CUBIC FOOT( 12x12x12), whereas one CUBIC FOOT (12x12x12) of broken concrete weights roughly 75 pounds.

One CUBIC YARD (4" H x 6' W x 13.5' L) weights approximately 4,050 pounds

Keep in mind this weight does account for any rebar or gravel that may be within the concrete.

The most common container size for concrete waste disposal is a 20 yard container due to the build and shape of the dumpster. Fill the container no more than level to the top to avoid overloading the container and preventing pick up.
